My name is Niq and I’m a Filipino American tattoo artist born and raised in Southern California. I started my career in 2018 and specialize in black and gray realism, tribal, and Japanese tattoos. The most common question I get is, “Why did you start tattooing?”. The simple answer is that I take pride in participating in a tradition that has been a part of almost every human civilization at one point or another. It may sound a bit cheesy, but I see tattooing as the ultimate form of art. The designs can be menial or deeply meaningful depending on what you make of them, but your tattoos are the only things that you will be able to take to your grave. My goal is to give my clients great tattoos and an amazing experience.
